What is boat detailing

Detailing your boat not only enhances its appearance and protects it from the elements, but also helps to maintain its value and ensure optimal performance, making it a worthwhile investment for any boat owner

Full pre-season detailing process

1. PRE-WASH

After winter storage involves applying a cleaning solution to loosen and remove buildup before polishing

2. RUBBING

Removing deep scratches, stains, and other imperfections from the surface of the boat, leaving it with a smooth and even gelcoat finish

3. POLISHING

Removing minor imperfections, swirl marks, and oxidation from the surface of the boat, leaving it with a smooth and glossy finish

4. WAXING

Applying a protective wax coating to the exterior surfaces of the boat, which helps to protect it from the harmful effects of UV rays, salt water, and other environmental factors

5. ANTIOULING

Applying a specialized coating to the bottom of the boat, which helps to prevent the growth of algae, barnacles, and other marine organisms that can damage the boat's hull and decrease its performance in the water
